“Black Farmers collective creates community space for youth in Seattle urban farming program” Brings attention to the youth urban farming program Black Farmers collective has been offering along with iUrban Teen. The program aims to educate Black and Brown youth about the lack of Black land Ownership and the integral role Black Farmers once held in this country. They also discuss the history of environmental justice and restoration, and throughout the program youth are encouraged to roam the farm, participate in light farm tasks, and observe plant life!
