JOshua Jenkins
My name is Joshua Jenkins and I use he/him pronouns and I was once first chair clarinet in my 6th-grade band. I'm passionate about food sovereignty, soccer, and sharing love. The guiding philosophy for my work is that a food system governed by the rules of an economic system built on the exploitation and appropriation of land, labor, and culture cannot be relied upon to nourish us physically, mentally, or spiritually. In that vein, it is my hope that BFC can plug into and help grow a just, sovereign food system as an alternative to our current one while organizing within our own communities and with others to challenge capitalism.
